Federal Election 2011

This morning and throughout the day Millions of Canadians will cast their votes.Personally I have voted in the advance poll for our local Conservative Candidate.I am excited by what has evolved to be one of the more interseting campaigns in the past seven years. People will vote motivated by a number of things from civic responsibility to peer and family pressures or out of protest. Good weather will ensure a large turnout and the converse holds true.
The issues in this election are numerous and complex for a Federalist Governing system which we enjoy in Canada. My hope is that voters young and old will cast their ballots with a look back and a view forward as to what how this country was built (CONSERVATIVE TRADITIONS) and act accordingly.
Prevailing hype from the media and the constant polling of our citizens should not be the determining factors in selecting a government.
